Turnover
Effect: A spectator selects a card at random (no force*) and returns it anywhere abck in the deck. With a little gesture from the magican the card magicaly turns over in the deck as you fan through them.
Secret: Start off by turning the bottom card upwards away from your spectators. fan out the cards as normal. Ask the spectator to choose one. If theres anyone else there say "let everybody see it". As there attention is Misdirected* on the card turn the deck over. Then say put it back in the deck (don't fan out the cards or else they'll see that the last card is turned over). Again somehow Misdirect* there attention and turn the deck back over and spread the cards out (spread them so they can't see the last card turned over). Now say "watch" and then show the spectator the turned over card. [ Force*: To Force a certain card that you want the spectator to have but have them think it was chosen at random. ] [ Misdirect*: Take the attention of the spectators eyes off the cards. ]
Rise Up
Effect: The magician shows the top card an then places it in the middle of the deck. Magicaly that same card rises back to the top of the deck!!!.
Secret:Aproach a spectator and say "can i show you something". Start with performing a Double Lift*. Show them that card. Place the Double Lift* back on the top of the deck and take the top card. Place it roughly in the middle of the deck. Say "i'm going to make the card hop back to the top of the deck" and then lift up the top card, and there you have it. [ Double Lift*: Take the two top cards and show them as if they were one card. ]
Do As I Do
Effect: After you and a spectator with a deck of cards each go through a series of moves you bought end up pcking the same card!!!.
Secret: You and the spectator take a deck of cards each. say to the spectator "Do As I Do". Start off by you and the spectator shuffling the cards. You take the spectators cards and the spectator takes yours. Again the both of you shuffle them. After shuffling the cards as you are handing back the spectators cards take a glimpse at the bottom card and memorize it. Now say "Pick any card you want and put it on the top of the deck" You also pick a card but you don't have to memorize it (pretend). Then say cut the deck, put the top half to the bottom of the deck. Take the spectators cards and you give them yours. Say "from my deck take out the card you picked and i'll do the same" Look for the bottom card that you memorized earlier and the spectators prediction card should be next to it. Now say "Put your card face down on the table" Then turn the two cards over, and there the same!!! (This Trick may be confusing at first, but do it with youself and you'll get it.)
Squealing Deck
Effect: The magician riffles through the deck and ask a spectator to tell you when to stop. The spectator takes the half of the deck where he stoped at an memorizes it, then returns it back to the deck. You then riffle the cards into your ear and the deck squels the card to you. You then reveal the card to the spectator.
Secret: Shuffle the cards first, and as your shuffling the cards look at the top card and memorize it. when your riffling through the deck your really just forcing the top card onto the spectator. Pretend that the deck squealed the chosen card to you, and then tell them the chosen card.
V.I.P Card
Effect: You ask a spectator to pick a card and place it on the top of the deck. you cut it and find that the kings are protecting the chosen card.
Secret: Start off by putting two kings on the top of the deck, and two kings on the bottom of the deck. fan the deck and ask him/her to pick a card and to put it onto the top of the deck (make sure they don't pick the last two or the first two). Befor you look for the kings say something like "The kings in this deck are very protective of the card you picked for some reason". Look for the kings and show him his card in between the kings.
Seperating Card
Effect: You drop the deck onto a table or floor and the spectators chosen card seperates from the deck.
Secret: Get the spectator to pick a card. Control that card to the top of the deck. Then say "watch the floor/table for your card". Normally when you drop a deck at high distance the cards will stay together. So what you do is, Slide the top card about an inch off the deck and drop it. There card will seperate from the deck or turnover.
